Add Printer via Manual Entry (Draft)

When to use Manual Entry

Use Manual Entry when neither Network Scan nor IP Scan can identify the printer, or when you need to set advanced options before the printer is reachable on the network.

Step 1. Open the Manual Entry tab

On the dashboard, click Add Printer. In the dialog, click the Manual Entry tab.

Step 2. Fill in the printer details

  • Custom Name. Display name in the dashboard.
  • IP Address. Required.
  • Manufacturer / Model / Firmware Type. Required for firmware-specific features.
  • Nozzle Diameter. Used for filament and slicer matching.
  • Group / Location. Optional grouping for filters.
  • Has AMS. Bambu Lab Automatic Material System.

Step 3. Set advanced options if needed

Expand Advanced for the web UI port, MAC address, webcam path, filament-slot count, maintenance-cycle hours, and the port map. Required for custom builds where the web UI port differs from the firmware default.

Step 4. Save

Click Add Printer. The printer appears on the dashboard with its camera feed, status, and action buttons.
