Backup and Restore (Draft)

Where it lives

In Settings, scroll to the System tab. The Backup section is at the top.

Download a backup

Click Download Backup. PrinterMon assembles a ZIP containing the database, uploaded files, and configuration, then prompts you to save it. Backups are full snapshots, not incremental.

Restore from a backup

Click Choose Backup File and select a previously downloaded backup ZIP. PrinterMon validates the archive, restores the database and files, then restarts. The browser session is invalidated. Log in again to continue.

Factory Reset

The Factory Reset button below the backup controls deletes all printers, jobs, filaments, alerts, and settings, then restarts. The container is preserved but the database is wiped. Use only when starting fresh. There is no undo.
