Enable Discord Notifications

Begin on your local node. Go to the setting page, notification tab, Discord Integration tab. Then click the discord.com/developers link. Then login to your discord account.

Click New Application.

Name your app, agree to the TOS and click create.

In the left nav, click Bot. Then click Reset Token. Validate. Then copy your new token into the bot token field in Printermon.

Next, click OAuth2 in the left nav. Copy and paste the CLIENT ID and CLIENT SECRET from Discord into Printermon.

Click Add Redirect then paste the redirect URI from PrinterMon into Discord. This URI should have an IP address. If you see any other address stop now and visit the node using your IP address URL.

Next click Add Bot to Server. This should open a new window with a discord login prompt. Login and authorize the bot to connect to the server.

Your bot should now connect. Permission it to get access to the room you want it to post in.

Then click check servers, select the server, then select the channel from the drop downs in Printermon settings.

The bot should now be able to post messages to the specified channel in your server.

With your bot connected you can enable it to send DMs to various individuals. They need to be logged into discord when clicking the link account button. After linking their username should appear in the DM account section with a link and test button.
