Nylon absorbs moisture fast — dry it at 80°C for 6+ hours before printing.

Getting Started with PrinterMon (Draft)

What you will do

This guide takes a fresh PrinterMon install from zero to a printer you can monitor and control. The whole process takes 5 to 10 minutes if Docker is already installed.

1. Install PrinterMon on your host

Follow the Install PrinterMon on Linux snippet. The result is a running PrinterMon container on port 8888.

2. Create a PrinterMon.com account

Optional but recommended. An account is required for remote access, multi-user setups, and paid features. See Create your PrinterMon.com Account.

3. Connect your node to the account

From PrinterMon's Settings page, sign in with your PrinterMon.com credentials. The node links to your organization. See Connect Your Printermon Node To Your Organization.

4. Add printers

Use Network Scan, IP Scan, or Manual Entry. See Add Printers to Printermon.

5. Start a print

Upload a file and start your first job from the dashboard. See Starting a Print from the Dashboard.
