A well-maintained printer is a reliable printer — schedule regular maintenance.

Print Actions (Draft)

Action buttons on each printer row

Every printer row on the dashboard has an Actions column. The buttons that appear depend on the printer's current state.

What each action does

  • Print. Sends the queued job to the printer and starts it. Shown when the printer is idle and a job is selected.
  • Abort. Stops the active print and cancels the job. Shown during printing.
  • Reprint. Re-runs the most recent job on the same printer. Shown after a print finishes.
  • Home. Sends the printer to its home position.
  • Light On / Light Off. Toggles the chamber LED if the firmware exposes it.
  • E-Stop. Emergency stop. Disables motors and heaters immediately. Use when the printer is doing something dangerous.
  • Bed is Cleared. Marks the bed as ready for the next job. See the Bed is Cleared snippet for details.
  • Edit. Opens the Edit Printer dialog.
  • View. Opens the printer detail page with full status, camera, temperature graphs, and per-printer settings.
